Fantastic snorkel & scuba plus whales & dolphinsI joined this excursion while on the Pride of America cruise as I was looking for a relaxing and fun snorkel experience. I was not disappointed. Not only did I get to snorkel, but there was also a dive instructor on board - Mark Ryan. He was taking a couple who were certified down and was looking for 2 more people. I told him I am not certified and have never dove, but he said that I didn't need any prior experience. And he was right. Mark was very patient in explaining the process and numerous safety instructions to me. Since it ended up just being 3 of us plus Mark, and the other couple was certified, he was able to focus his attention on me - ensuring I was safe but also making sure I didn't miss some amazing sights - like the eel swimming through the coral! I have been wanting to try SCUBA for some time and am very fortunate to have had such a wonderful first experience.

The rest of the staff on the boat were fantastic as well. They were all very friendly and helpful - and even with the snorkel experience, they were very focused on safety - which is a great thing. I did have time to snorkel as well after the dive - it was great to see the same reef from a different perspective!

In addition, the food available on board was perfect for post snorkel/scuba. I really liked that the burgers were grass fed and hormone free.

Thanks to this experience, I am definitely going to get certified and can't wait to come back to the Big Island to scuba again. And when I do so, I will absolutely be coming to Body Glove, and specifically to Mark to help make another memorable experience.
